GP Training Course Fees, Scholarships, and Admission Process
The total fee of GP rating training course is 2.0 lakhs which is inclusive of all the resources, lab access and training.
Eligibility for G.P. Rating Course
Age
Course Duration
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria
– Passed 10th standard with at least 40% overall marks OR
– Passed 12th standard (any stream) from a government-recognized board with at least 40% overall marks OR
– Completed a 2-year ITI course approved by DVET/NCVT with at least 40% marks in the final year.
Medical Standards
– Applicants must be physically fit for sea service and meet the medical requirements set by the Directorate General of Shipping.
– Vision Requirements: Candidates can wear corrective lenses, but vision must be 6/6 in both eyes. Color blindness is not allowed.
